where to find forceps locally (besides pet store)?

tried the search engine but couldn't really find an answer...

might have some scorps coming in tomrrow and i'd like to pick up some forceps before i unpack them...where would i look for these locally? Local pet stores aren't going to be of assistance...i'm thinking a nursing supply store? Where else that might be open after 6PM? lol...if i have to i'll improvise, no big deal...i like to use my brain ONCE in a while :D

Radio Shack??

I've had this same problem. I've only seen a pair of 10" forceps once. I should have bought them then. You can find em on Ebay, which is where someone suggested it to me. Only seen one pair on there lately tho.

I'm gonna go see Radio Shack tho, cause now im curious.

The flea market :) or if your lucky and work in the medical field like me, you wait for something to get nasty and about to be thrown away and you grab it!

Yup, forceps are a 'staple tool' of any electronics tinkerer.

Sometimes you can find them in the dishes, silverware and canning section at places like walmart. My mom got some from there for canning they were like 12" long and were rubber coated. I was looking for some a few days ago but I didn't find them so I got some 7" tongs but the tips were not rubber coated. I may just buy that dip to coat the handles of your tools and dip it.

Kelly Foreceps are great for working with electronics and soldering.

Try a craft store also. Got some there in the glass working section of a Hobby Lobby.
