Where Do I Fing Online Tarantula Stores

ok now I feel it A must to find an online Tarantula Store. My pet stores by me only get a couple different T.'s but im lookin for a bigger selection....i live in the US....any info would be appreciated

Go to the "for sale /trade" section of this site.Click arachnoboards and then scroll down down to the section.You'll find all the online dealers and sellers there.They'll have everything you want/need and then some...peace..

I just went to visit that site and I saw a something that concerns me:

The photo of the "Brazilian Black" is neither black nor brown. It looks like a creamy blonde color. I have 4 critters of this species in 3 different sizes and none of them even SLIGHTLY resemble the color of the "Brazilian Black" they have shown.

I think it's best to stick with the dealers we know......usually those who frequent this site and petbugs and other related sites.

u can never tell from just one photo. sure it could be a different t but maybe the lighting is horrible and u used a flash. i dunno but it does look a little light though...

That's not the picture I saw. Either they updated it or you're looking at a different picture.

Go to their main website and click on tarantulas. You'll see what is listed as a "juvenile" of the species. I don't think lighting is a factor here. This thing is BLONDE all over! It's the 3rd T down on the list. I tried to "save as" just to see the name of the file and it definitely says "Gpulchra" on it.

no i know which pic you are talking about...but if you click the pic it will bring up a new window with numbers up top and then it will show the same pic you clicked in thumnail size...click the number 1 up top then it shows you the larger version of the thumbnail, then click the 2 up top and it shows you the one i posted ...cuz I saw the pic you are speaking of and wondered the same thing...

I see what you mean but the impression I get is that they are representing this 2+ inch BLONDE thing as a critter that will grow up to become a beautiful black G. pulchra. Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty critter, but I don't believe it is going to grow up to be a G. pulchra. I would be terribly disappointed if I bought this thing and found out it had been mislabelled. I don't know what it IS, but to the best of my knowledge, G. pulchra doesn't come in BLONDE. I'd sure like to know what it IS though because I do like the looks of it. I'm just not sure it's worth $50 as it is.

I've got some pulchras that look very blondeish.. i'll post some pics soon..

you can't really tell the size from those pics, and they could be just some pics of pulchra slings (which look like that) and then just saying they have 2" ones on hand...

? I'll take some pics of my pulchras later on tonite.

I agree 100%, I had to get on MrsG about posting the link...I said "shame on you, you should have pointed him to the proper forum " There are definietly a lot of reviews in there and hours of reading.

I just wish there was a way that there could be a "user rating" in the title of the dealer.


So say "SallysArachnoPets" would show a user rating of 9.5 and then you could read the comments...instead of having to open every single thread to try and find the best one but I can be lazy sometimes hehehe
