You have to go dig up queens. worker ants you can get at any pet store that sells animals that eat ants(Horny Toad's, etc.). I don't think ants are carnivorous as long as there is food around.

Irgross, if you are looking for queens, but you don't know if harvester ants are carnivorous, I honestly think you should start with buying a book on ants, or doing more reading on them somehow. You obviously can get on the internet. There's also libraries. Good luck!

Ah, you're right. I am. It was very early when I posted.

I have no idea if harvesters are carnivorous. I suspect they aren't. But I'm no expert.
