When should our mantis eat?

We recently got an African praying mantis and she had her final molt 3 days ago. She still has not eaten her crickets. When should we expect her to eat?
I wonder if we are doing something wrong. We even tried putting her in a small container with 3 crickets, yet she seems completely uninterested. At what point should we start to worry that she has not eaten?

You can offer them: Roaches, flies, feeder worms. I know a site that can help you out.

www.elytraandantenna.com They have a cool book on caring for mantids called "Praying Mantids: Keeping Aliens"

Its probably still too soon for her to eat. Give her a week or so, and she'll probably be chowin down again. Its nothing to worry about.

Thanks,

Indeed, nothing to worry about, it's quite normal. What Sphodromantis species do you have (again I hate those common names...)?
Adult females Sphodromantis can take very very large prey (as big as itself). I feed mine adult crickets (also the black ones), adult and subadult locusts (Locusta migratoria) and B. dubia. Sphodromantis species are still the most aggressive mantids that I've seen (towards prey)
