I've had a few FBTs die a year ago in a tank, two survived. I removed them from that tank and used vineger to clean in. I put my axolotl in their for a couple weeks while I was resetting his tank up. Two or three weeks ago I put my surviving two FBTs in it. Today, I found one dead and one died in my hand. I'd like a proper diagnosis, but I'm assuming it's chytrid. I'll put some links below. As you can assume I'm going to dispose of the tank.

Can be anything... For a 100% answer, you need to get some tissue samples tested.

If you can get a blood sample tested for electrolyte deficiency that would narrow it down to probably fungi infection. With that fungi possible you do realize you and your household and containments must be quarantined, yes?

Nobody does that considering it will soon die without water or a very moist environment.
