What's a good male/female ratio for hisser colony?

I have about 30 adult hissers and a bunch of nymphs and babies. I believe the ratio of males to females is about 1:1. My guess is that it's better to have more females than males? So if I want to keep all 15 adult females, how many males is a good amount to have?

You should keep all of them, the more there are, the better the breeding is. If you take some away it's not like it's gonna help with anything. Plus once the nymphs mature into adults then those males will have more females to breed with, plus more males to compete with:)

No, no, no...if you have too many males in the enclosure, there's too much competition and nobody ever gets any. Too many males are going to slow breeding dramatically.

Iggy...keep your ratio at about one male to every five females and you'll be fine.
