What would be the best deal that you got from a dealer or a fellow collector?

Recently, I bought a 3 inch female E. campestratus from a fellow collector. I was surprised to receive a 2 inch female P. regalis as a freebie

4 inch A.metallica for $24.LPS had no idea what it had. I also have another $20 Avic that is unlike any I have seen.It was sold as Avic.avic,but has a reddish brown color and an attitude that rivals any OBT......No doubt in my mind that it is something other than it was sold as.

My boyfriend got an adult G. pulchra from a LPS for $60 with an enclosure and a nice naturalistic water bowl. They also had no idea what they had. This wasn't even that long ago.

Best deal I have gotten would have to be my last trip to the LPS and picked up a 5"-5.5" MF B.Boehmei with 2.5 gallon tank and 3.5"-4" MF C.fasciatum with 2.5 gallon tank, both having awesome naturalistic water dishes for a grand total of 50$.

Well, the deal I was most happy with was when I traded my mature male Holothele incei for a young female Citharischius crawshayi (picture at the bottom of this post). Another time I got a subadult female Ceratogyrus darlingi, 4 Heteroscodra maculata spiderlings and a Brachypelma boehmei spiderling for ~50$.

I would say the best deal I got was in trade. I got a 3" F B,boehmei,4"F A.versicolor, MM C.crawshayi ,2x Babycurus gigas and gravid H.troglodytes for my MM B smithi and a 2x Rhacodactylus auriculatus hatchlings

We traded a MM A. metallica for 6 P. irminia and i thought that was good, but then we received 3 Ts absolutely free from a fellow keeper. 2 B. vagans and a C. sp.blue/ L. violaceopes/ Singapore blue and I have to say that was THE BEST deal!

I wouldn't call him a 'collector', but my 7" female LPs previous owner sold her to me with nice locking terrarium for $40, with accessories. I think it was a good deal.

I got a 6in female A.genic for $90 shipped from a fellow collector...not bad, huh. I also traded 2 venus flytraps and a mexican butterwort to a collector for 3 B.vagans slings, a Avic sling, and a 1.5 in female B.smithi sling. :worship:
