What various types of feeder critters do you use, is there a downside to feeding with froglets?

Anyone care to share what various types of feeder critters you use, I through in some very tiny froglets into the tank for my 2 juvenile true spiders.

Is it okay to feed with tiny froglets and what is the best feeder worm or grub that you like to use?

I guess You mean wild local froflets, that would be very unethical and also illegal in many areas.

Why would you ever feed baby froglets instead of crickets or worms? Crickets are about $1 for a dozen in most pet shops, theres simply no reason to feed baby frogs unless you're being sadistic on purpose. <edit> Amphibians are becoming less and less common in most areas, and you're trying to use them as FEEDERS? Did this thought even cross your mind? Really disappointed and upset about this post.

In my shed there is an avalanche of frogletss at certain times of the year and they just die because I line in the city and there's not a balanced system in my area besides the emphasis wasn't that I was going to start an on going thing by feeding them I was mainly curious as to whether it is harmful to them simply to understand about the effects from various prey and the effects. I don't have time to transport frogs and release them they are going to die in the shed and like I said I never implied that I was going to feed them continuously I was curious about the effects and that alone.

By the time it took to post this thread and the replies, you could have transported the frogs and released them.
Give it a try, it'll make you a better person for doing it.

Not if I have been posting from my phone at work, you have a good many of argument from silence fallacies going on. But anyway if it was on the weekend and my truck was not in the shop I would definitely do some thing like that.

If you want to do something you can make time to do it. It’s not dangerous to their diet to eat them but it is a weird choice to feed them that when there are so many other things available

Yes I know this, I was mainly wanting to know what varied type of feeders are used by those that feed a more varied diet. This was the emphasis of what I was asking.

A regular varied diet would be crickets, mealworms and roaches

Well, because we aren’t sure if invertebrates can feel pain like we can, that tends to be the the more “humane” option. However, I’m pretty sure frogs feel pain in a similar way to us. So maybe not a good idea? This is only what I’ve heard. Could be false info

Sorry but... this is extremely cruel. As others have said, frogs are becoming very rare in certain areas. They feel pain and fear more than mealworms or crickets do. (No offense to the buggies.) As a frog owner, this breaks my heart and I hope you will stick to feeding inverts to your spoods.

Yeah I had taken them out of the tank and let them go. I wasn't thinking about the pain factor because the frogs were so tiny that they were the size of a pinky nail actually smaller. I was never planning to regularly feed with them I was mainly posting and asking to hear what the various types of feeders are generally used aside from crickets. I had convo with someone a while back that said they were thinking of using butter worms for their true spiders so I wanted to hear what some options were, I was never planning to use frogs continuously my shed gets a froglet breakout from time to time and the petstore was out of crickets but I took the frogs out as I said.
