I am new to jumping spiders have an adult jumping spider, I tried meal worm and small dubia roach she has no interest in them, so I thought I would try crickets, how big of a cricket should I get a small or a pin head? or should I try flightless fruit flies?

"Adult" doesn't give the size of your jumper, so it's hard to say for sure how big the prey should be. I would recommend, though, that you start with prey items that are no larger than half the size of your spider. They are very powerful and can take down prey items that are significantly larger, even larger than they are, but if you have a finnicky eater it's best to start with smaller prey that your spider will be confident hunting. I think crickets are a good option as they move around a lot and get the spider's attention.

she is just a hair under 1/2 " will the crickets hurt her?
No, if you get small crickets (like 3/8" or smaller), then she will be able to take them down easily. She could realistically take down prey that is much larger than she is, but if she's timid it would be good to feed smaller prey until she gets more confident. Just don't leave a cricket in with her when she's molting - that's when she's most vulnerable and could potentially be injured by the cricket.
