So I recently got a Madagascar Hissing Roach, I've been a fan of watching people keep insects/arthropods and recently got a MHR. Her name is Skitters and I've looked at care guides for hours and got the good food and habitat. But when I came back from playing with friends and she was gone. I panicked ALOT because I left the door open from my room and I was out for 3 hours. Only one of my brothers new and if my parents found her they might think it was a palmetto bug or killed her. I tested if she could climb out and she couldn't so I thought it was safe. Any tips on finding her because I've flipped my room inside out looking for her but couldn't find her. Any tips or traps to get her to come out, and my parents didn't say they found a big bug or killed one.

Welp right after writing this I was one my bed with the light and I saw something move in the corner of my eye, turns out she was hiding under the bed and found out that the sides of the habitat she could squeeze through, I've fixed it and patched it up

Can you show us it’s enclosure, also of the MHR if you want us to sex it. Don’t know why you only got one but we can help you figure out how it escaped and make sure you got the care right

you just gotta man up and own your mistake and tell your parents then hopefully when/if they find it they dont kill it and call you to catch it again rather than step on it
I agree, when I was younger I had a Sonoran desert millipede that escaped and got smooshed on, after that I always told my parents if I lost something which was only one other time
