A few minutes ago, I went to check on my T's before I went to bed, and guess what I see going on?????


My P. cambridgei has just started molting!!!!!!

I will keep you updated if anything happens in the next hour, but after that, I have to get to bed........and be up at 5 AM. TGIF!!!!

Thanks all!! On break now, so I thought I'd reply. Sadly, my job doesn't have a policy for molting tarantulas....but being a dock worker has the benefits of short-shifts, lol!!! I'll definately get pics when I get home....now back to the grind

So, I just got home a few minutes ago....after running all over town gathering supplies for a rehousing project. Just as I promised earlier, I bring forth a pic!!!!

It's back to business as usual with this recalcitrant T. This is the best I could get, as he was being a stubborn spider.....and he's still guarding his molt!!!!

So, this morning, my daughter and I went to retrieve the molt. I kept her busy fetching me things like feeding tongs, catch cups, and anything else I could distract her with, until the lid was back on, LOL.

I got attacked the second I went in there, but lured the spider from the den, into open enclosure, took a pic, and got the molt. Here's the pic:
