What the heck does hardy mean

I'm not a pro like u guys Just want to know what hardy means thanks guys... Hope you enjoy your tarantulas today a bunch

hard to kill despite changes in temperature, humidity, food availability, or other conditions that can vary in keeping tarantula. "Beginner" species are usually consider "hardy" as well.

'Hardy in reference to Ts' is more what the OP means I believe

It means the particular T or species of T is stronger against things like higher temperatures, humidity, hunger etc. For example G.rosea are considered hardy because they can go for extremely long times without food and OBT are considered hardy because no matter what environment you give them they will find a way to make it work for themselves
