What the butt?

While looking at my B. lateralis colony. I saw an adult female with a white/pink bulby thing coming out of the tip of her abdomen. At first, it was a white opening on her abdomen. I recognize her from a missing leg tip.

I don't know if she's laying on ooth or what. I'll try to find her tomorrow to take a pic.

It's just the start of her new ooth. Mine always come out very pink and then darken up.

Yeah they will pop it out from time to time and rotate it or air it out or whatever they like to do.

Oh, lol thanks. I thought it was some kind of disease or fungus. This is my first time with roaches so yeah.
