Tityus species, which should I breed?

I have had a difficult time deciding what I should breed. I finally decided that I should stick to Tityus spp., but I don't know which one. For now, here are my options:

T. silvestris, T. bastosi, T. ocelote, T. tamayoi, T. ecuadorensis

I wanted to "help out" and get more species into the U.S. hobby, but I wanted to know more about them. Which are harder to take care of? What are little details/requirements for each species? Anything you can think of to help and any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I know some people that are breeding T. stigmurus. Thanks for the help, I'll try that.

Anyone else with advice? Thanks for the replies so far. I am leaning towards the T. ocelote and T. tamayoi.

Surprised that you can get these species in the US, but anyway, do realize that when you want to breed these species, you will need a steady supply of micro crickets. Adults of T.tamayoi measure 3-3.5 cm and T.ocelote also....very small scorpions....

Don't worry, it would be legal. Thanks, Michiel, I actually didn't know T. tamayoi was as small as T. bastosi, I thought it was a little larger. That helps. I guess my main question is, how high are mortality rates among juveniles (2, 3, 4 instar)? Being so small I would think they would be very fragile. I'll try my absolute best though. Thanks everyone!

T.tamayoi is not difficult to raise, they need the proper husbandry and micro crickets...The young of both species eat micro crickets, so fruitflies are not necessary...Small size does not necessarily mean they are fragile...They are quite hardy....

These are now species that I am definitely considering:

Tityus trivittatus
Tityus nematochirus
Tityus ocelote
Rhopalurus princeps
Rhopalurus pintoi

ANY constructive advice? I can get them legally and I know as much about them as available information can offer.:)

I'm breeding Tityus obscurus which are like Tityus asthenes, at least from glance, the males have longer pedipalps then the females.

Brian can't be bothered with people or he thinks he's too busy or whatever the case may be, but I wouldn't waste your time with him.

I'm not sure I can contact him anyway, but it is not a big deal.;)

Any more advice from those who have a preference?

I say go for what you like out of those. My recommendation would be in the following order:

Tityus nematochirus
Tityus bastosi
Tityus tamayoi
Tityus ocelote

The reason I place nematochirus first is because they are like obscurus, where the males pedipalps are significantly longer than the females. I love that look.

I personally like the "red morph" T. nematochirus.:);) Thanks for the recommendation. I am leaning more towards T. trivittatus, T. nematochirus, and T. ocelote. The only problem with T. ocelote, T. tamayoi, and T. bastosi is that they are so small. I am not saying that I am not willing to care for them by any means but the fact that they are small does not entirely help.
