I am sure he dont try handling. He had a big apophysis male 6 month ago and tried to handle him. He got nailed BIG TIME" in his hand(palm) and it hurt like hell he told me, because the T wouldnt let go, and he was dizzy for almost a week after the bite.Yeah, OBT, and as Rochelle said, leave it in the tank... Not one to handle.
So he sold the apophysis because he got bit and got an OBT instead? That's almost kinda funny! Suggest to him that he might not want to get bit by this one either!I am sure he dont try handling. So he sold him and bought this T instead. He just didnt now the species.
That's too bad. this place is a great source for all kinds of useful information.I have asked him to make a profile in here and post a bite report, but i dont think he wants to;-(

Stuff like which species are and aren't safe to handle is one subject that springs to mind...
hehe i will give it a try. He says i can post it in the bite report for him, but i dont know about that, people may mistake me for being the unlucky guy, but i am NOT, i know my apophysis. I have 3 girls, one big and 2 subadults, and they all bite first and ask if it was ok after:evil:LOL!!! I can relate. I support a business network for trucking dispatchers. Imagine for a moment what it's like supporting a windows computing environment for a bunch of redneck retired truckdrivers who now have desk jobs. Every "stoopid user" stereotype imagineable but on speed...
Maybe if you show him how to get here and navigate around a bit you can turn him away from the dark side...
