what species is this spider? i guess it's a Ctenizidae.

This is a suspected Ctenid, Senckenberg best guess, native to Thailand. Any similarities?

Thanks for the clarification! As the saying goes, close only counts with horse shoes, hand grenades and hydrogen bombs.

i don't think they have sth in common...obviously mine has 2 long chelicerae
Unless you get lucky at some institute very familiar with them they will need much better pictures and preferably a specimen to examine. Undescribed are turning up almost daily in the far East.
The spider in my picture, 1200 dpi with measurement scale only got a possible from Senckenberg.
