what should i feed my lung fish...

my friend purchased an african lungfish as extra credit for his teacher, the catch is we have to keep it all summer until school starts up again next year. we seem to have trouble getting him to eat so what do u guys recommend we feed him?

They actually need fairly good water conditions in the aquaria. They are pretty much carnivorous and should be offered a good variety of meaty foods.

They can during the dry season, Afew years ago the Shed Aquarium in Chicago had one set-up in drought conditions. Thats an awsome place to go if you ever get a chance!

lungfish eat just about anything and everything. i use minnows, goldfish and frozen fish food cubes. you can get them at any pet store.

i have had many..feed them silversides..crayfish..krill..pellets NO FEEEDERS...dont feed any fish goldfish..and earthworms..they love em...

mine refuses to eat feeder fish or anything else. he eats nohting but earth worms
