What Should I Do With Dud Egg Sac?

Hello,

I have this adult female C. versicolor that I haven't seen in about a month. I decided to do a wellness check by turning her enclosure around. I was surprised to find her clutching onto an egg sac. I've raised this T from 3rd instar and it was not wild caught. I've read on another forum here that they will lay a dud if they feel secure, are well fed, and watered.
My question is what should I do with the dud? Should I just let it be and let her keep it?

You could let her keep it for a few days to see if she eats it, to get some of those nutrients back. Or if you'd rather just be done with it, there's nothing wrong with taking it away and tossing it in the trash before it starts to rot.
