We are struggling now for over 9 months with a type of mite or parasite we feel crawling on us and they are biting us for our blood. We tried everything and although we live in the Caribbean where we should be used to many insects we have hired five different exterminators, a dermatologist and an "insect expert" but none of them were able to identify the species. Below are three pictures of the different life stages from the nymph to adult. they are all the same species. Please let us know if you can help us in any way to identify these species.

It’s too hard to tell from those images.
You should contact a museuem curator or scientist.

Nasty Parasites...?
Find a local Entomologist.
Perhaps Someone at a nearby University could help.

Find any specialists in bugs or parasites etc . I’m shocked exterminators didn’t know . Could be a microscopic type of flea like mite ?

Exterminators don't know crap. These images look like every other little piece of debris I have seen in cases like this.

Do you have measurements?

And can I see pics of the bites?

Do you guys have bot flies where you are?

Any other fur bearing animals in the house that have been affected?

Edit I suppose a derm would've ruled this out lol

I mean this in the kindest way possible, and am not telling you this is the case, but have you ever heard of delusory parasitosis? Whatever you are feeling is very real but could be something other than an arthropod. I'm so sorry you are going through this and haven't found any answers yet. I can't imagine the stress you are going through right now.
