Hi all! I recently purchased a female vinegaroon, quite small in size, 3 cm across the body, please help identify the species and Is she adult or not? IMG_20230212_161210.jpg IMG_20230212_165241.jpg

Not an adult - probably M Tahono. Lost it's back whip - not sure if they grow back.

This animal seems to be in heavy pre-molt as well. They need to molt underground. If they don't molt for too long, they'll die. I suggest putting her in deep, damp substrate so she can construct a tunnel

thank you very much! I have already poured a thick layer of substrate, I hope it's not too late ... Where I bought it, there was practically no substrate, so I would definitely die. And she ate a cricket 8 days ago, I guess that's not such a critical delay?

maybe it's just me but it looks like some sort of asian thelyphonid, and the operculum looks more male with that v shape, likely easier to sex once it gets bigger

Hello, new observations appeared, 1 day ago I saw how the previously blocked entrance of the hole opened, And literally today I saw how it made a circle on the surface, and again went back, maybe it was hibernation?
