It looks like it might be a Kukulcania, but I am not sure.

Any chance of better pics?

these are the only pics i have right now, but there's been many spiders like this in my house, maybe next time i see one i can try to take a better pic, but do u have any idea of the family?

i thought about Gnaphosidae too, but i think the spinnerets should be different, i also thought about Clubionidae, but it didn't seem right either :confused:

with those pics i kind of agree with What....that to me has Kukulcania written all over it...what was the webbing (if any) like? Kukulcania make sort of a lacy looking funnel web inside of cracks and crevices and holes...here in southeastern louisiana where i live we have Kukulcania hibernalis which looks alot like the pics you posted here...but if this is a Kukulcania species it's probably not hibernalis with you living in mexico

hi, thanks for replying
actually i've never seen its webbing, but i did see one spider in a wall crevice, usutally they're just wandering around the house, anyway i just looked at pictures of the one you mentioned and it looks a lot like this one!

The shape of the carapace doesn't look like Kukulcania too me. The shape of the carapace does look more like Gnaphosidae, but it doesn't appear to have the conspicous spinnerets, so my best guess from those pics is famliy Amaurobiidae.

There are many native to the US, unfortunately pics are scarce.
