What is this?

Looks like a wolf spider to me. Not sure of the species. Do Tegeneria spp. range as far south as TX? If so hopefully I can find some here in KS. I love those things.

Tegenaria Agrestis (hobo spiders) are primarily in the Pac Nortwest. Recluse spiders Loxosceles sp.) are found in Texas but that spider doesn't appear to be a recluse.

My take on the situation is to leave them be. If you see one in the home, take it outside or flush as needed :)

I dont think it is a Tegeneria spp, it looks more like wolf spider (Lycosa sp).
