Looks alot like one of those crazy caterpillars... while I have never seen that or something like it before, I have seen some REALLY weird ones in Mexico and Central/South America...

:drool: Awesome! Looks like a type of Hag Moth larva from the family Limacodidae. The caterpillars typically look like slugs and have odd dorsal protrusions/tufts, as shown in the video.

+1. "monkey slug" is the common name for the larva. Looks like it lost some of the lobes off of its carapace here, nothing unusual.

Unless you count its appearance, that is ;)
