What is this caterpillar?

This was crossing the hot as fire road.My sonn saved it,we have it in a KK with grapeleaves,green bean leaves,and misted it heavy to rehydrate it.It is munching away! Any ideas anyone as to the species?

Lepidopteran larval taxonomy is a big mess, but I will guess, just a guess, at some member of family Arctiidae.

I have kept them before, they are moslty brown in color, the caterpillars are alot more colorful.
