Yeah I guess it is a tease to not name te spider - this is my gold form H. schmidti. Easily my favorite spider. Good color, huge, and loves to be out in the open.

What I thought was really interesting about watching it feed was how it stood on tip toe and reared back to keep the roaches legs from touching the ground or from touching its palps or legs as they peddled in the death throws. Took the roach quite a while to die too, almost a full 10 minutes.
For scale that roach was right around 2 inches.
