what insects could i have added to this setup?

That's really nice. I think a tarantula or a scorpion would work good in there. Centepedes and roaches will tear up the plants and millipedes will eat them. Or you could put a cute little frog in there if you didn't want an invert.

I'd suggest a terrestrial tarantula. Burrowers would dig it up and arboreals would web it down. My P. Cavimanus scorpion likes to dig too so stay away from those and emperors. A bunch of bark scorpions would look cool in there though, it looks like it has alot of hides.

Oh I know! A mantis would look nice in there, like the malaysian orchid (hymenopus coronatus). Sorry didn't read "insect" closely enough lol.

I just decided on a mantis. They don't poop on the glass, they don't web, and don't burrow or dig, so they'll make a great display animal. thanks all for your contributes.

:D Your welcome. It's the only animal I can think of that looks nice and won't do damage to the tank. That tank is a work of art. If you can find a malaysian orchid mantis, that would compliment it nicely.
