Feeding my crix different stuff and saw some fish food (we have no fish). I'm using gold fish flakes right now, but does it matter what kind of fish food it is? I have some betta fish food, tropical fish food, etc. They are pellets (if that even matters), is it OK to feed to feeders?

i just got done feeding mine basic fish flakes, anything regarding fish should be fine, i also have rodents and COB that i ground up along with dog and cat food to make a meal that is consistant with that sold in the stores. They love it. Add some oranges and lettuce too :)

I feed goldfish flakes to my crickets and I've had no problems with my spiders that eat them

Should be great for them. Fish food is loaded with protein, which is good.

Depends on what vertebrates you're feeding.
High amounts of preformed vitamin A (in most fish food) can be bad for some reptiles.
Chameleons whose diet included crickets fed with fish food developed edema that subsided once fish food was removed from the equation.
My rule is:

Dog food is for dogs
Cat food is for cats
and
Fish food is for fish.

You might consider looking into some of the different types of Koi food. Some pet stores even have free sample packs of koi food. I fed a roach colony for close to a year off of free sample packs of koi food.
