in books about certain animals?

i was given the idea and encouragement by a few people i know to try and write a book to share my knowlege of different animals.

i decided to write books about the care of various geckos, and im aiming more towards "exotic" geckos as opposed to the ones seen everyday at petshops. (vietnamese golden geckos are one im going to write about for example)

i already have my ideas together as too what to include in the books, but i decided to start a thread here to see just what people want to see in a book about caring for animals, so that maybe i can include what others who write books dont. (in other words i'd like to know what people want to see in a book about the care of animals that they dont normally see in a book. )

any advice about my book idea is appreciated as well.

Honestly I hardly ever see lifespan data except when reading about tortoises.
