What Bugs would make a good Bug Zoo?

What Bugs would make a good Bug Zoo?
Please tell me just one for each person I
am trying to think up some new ideas.

how many species per tank/ how many tanks sizes etc


assasins in a cricket colony would be pretty cool, or a termite colony.

The assasins hit the bucket too fast.
I like the Termite Colony idea.
Single Species per tank.
Don't know on # of tanks it depends on other factors.

A good dermestid beetle display would be interesting. It might take some creativity to make it look presentable, but the result would look great. Try a nice animal skull for the center piece and add a few beef ribs into the mix for food.

Definately roaches, some millipedes, whip scorpions and vinegaroons, scorpions and tarantulas are always fun, maybe you could set up a tank for aquatic insects? And of course you could add a nice dead bug collection. Everything genious suggested would be great but they aren't as easy to come by in the US, but I'm sure a zoo could import them legally.

Variety is the spice of life, represent different types such a grazers, foragers, ambushers, deceitful mimics, colonist, etc.

Oregon has a pretty good insect zoo. They have about 20- 10 gallon aquariums with Tarantulas, Scorpions, ants, millipedes, stick insects, roaches etc.

a large roach colony always looks good. mad.hissers would be good in large colony since people could hear them
