What are we (from Ontario, canada)

I found and collected these today, 2 females and one male (looks mature), but have no clue what species they are, perhaps you all can help?

Looks like a kind of orb-weaver we always called "barn spiders",(the cross on the top of the abdomen looks the same as the ones in Illinois and Wisconsin) but I can't help you with a scientific name.

Not sure about the species but we have a very similar kind here in Washington.
