Looks like a type of lungless salamander. Don't let them dry out!

That is in the lungless salamander family, Plethodontidae. I think it might be Batrachoseps relictus, the relictual slender salamander, which is close to the outgroup that gave rise to the other slender salamander species.

There were a couple of those underneath an old stone in front of my house, pretty neat creatures, I always made sure to water around where they were hiding to make sure they kept moist. One day they just dissapeared and I never saw them again
