Well, 3-17 years undeground (depending on species) sucking the sap from tree roots. If you can figure out how to handle that side of it, ought to be a cinch

Or just catch'em when they emerge.

If you had adequate patience, then it would be something to try...I was more wondering along the lines if they needed to hibernate or a dormancy period or something like that.
