What a crock of Scmidti!! (Haplopelma that is)

In doing a little enclosure maintenance my freshly molted penultimate male H. Schmidti ran up my hand.

I received an 8.5" King Baboon female & a 3.5 - 4" H. Schmidti from Harry Pei... and it ran straight up my arm to my head. The kids got the camera and I tried to keep my bowels from disengaging. :clap:

That was hilarious. Thats the exact reason I dont hold mine. Did you get it off safely?

Yeah, I got it off safely... trust me, I would not have staged something like that. At one point it was directly over my eyes and I simply relaxed my mind and body so that I didn't blink. I don't think the spider would have liked butterfly kisses.

heh.. that sucker went everywhere but where i wanted.. never showed a threat though.. so i guess i was lucky in thatl... anyway... glad you caught that on video.. gave me a nice chuckle.

I have two females to feed up and breed when he's ultimate and after that Syndicate gets him and then he's more than welcome to send him to you after he's done. The way I'll work it is I want 5-10 slings from the sacs he helps produce. Future breeding and all.
