Well, ive been doing some deep thinking on my latest animal order im planning. Ive got a want list...nothing special, but stuff id like to have in the invert/vert catergories. I just threw in a few T's I would like. (as you can see....im not too experienced with tarantulas yet. Im starting with a rosie and an Usambara orange. I might have to rethink the usambara. I havent done much research on it yet....)

Here is my current wants list. Some of it is just stuff I need to fill voids, but there are some new things that iver never kept before. Im getting into frogs, so theres a few here.

(1) Pair of Fiddler Crabs
(1) Whites Tree Frog
(1) Pacman (either cranwelli or ornata) Frog
(1) G. rosea
(1) Black Trapdoor
(1) Scheider's Skink
(1) Painted Mantella
(1) Tomato Frog
(1) Red-Eye Tree Frog
(1) Grey Tree Frog
(1) Red Banded Frog
(1) P. murinus

And thats about all of it. It could change in 2 hours. But im not gonna get most of this until late september. I need to let my new pets coming tomorow, settle in, and I need to see where I stand. Im in the process of building a few divided aquariums to keep my frogs in.

anyway. What do you guys think of my selections:rolleyes:

scorpio,
Do you mean Hermit Crabs? If so, I've had 1 pair since January. I finally figured the path to success for keeping these little cuties alive.

No, I kept hermit crabs a while back and on my first one, I won a free sunday by entering my crab into the hermit crab race.

Im getting fiddler crabs for my aqua terrarium. They are smaller than hermits and more aquatic. they spend a lot of time on land though.

As for space....im almost full. But if I clear a few more shelves I will have more! Most of these animals wont require more than half a ten gallon. I have a spare reptarium for the skink and a ton of aquariums for the froggies. Im gonne use aquariums for the frogs because kritterkeepers have too much ventilation.

here's an maybe hint..
Hermit Crabs, when they molt, HAVE TO be able to eat their exoskeleton, else their new one won't harden. As well, there has been talk that there may be nutrients in the exoskeleton, as well. Perhaps the same holds true for Fiddlers?
(just a random thought)
