Looking ready. I stopped all breeding projects. No more moths no more mantises. Nothing. Just my pet rocks and them some.

nothing more interesting then a hunting mantis!

If you can buy near a field, you will have best of chances.

just by looking at a patch of land i can tell if mantises will be there.

i tried to introduce them on my land but so far, nothing has given results. I gave egg sacs to everyone i know that has good habitat land. Still no resultats.

you can try as much as you can: if habitat is not alreasy established, it will
Fail.

it takes two to tango.

I love mantids and they do have a sense of intelligence to them when I interacted with them.

Back in the 70's here in Illinois they were abundant. They were everywhere and big ones too. Females were huge.

Now.....they are very rare. It could be from agriculture over the decades and pollution that decimated their numbers.

The last one I seen was a few years ago that I posted a photo of.

Pesticides, deforestation, hunting for pet trade etc .. lack of food because those causes killed moths off here .
