I went to the pet store and immediatley fell in love with this little pinktoe. She's missing a couple hairs on her abdomen but they should be back by her next molt. another thing i noticed is that she is missing a pedipalp Should i be worried? if you dont know what a pedipalp is look up the anatomy of a tarantula here http://www.geocities.com/Petsburgh/Farm/3173/articles/gif/anatomy.gif
i had a reaction like that to a pinktoe at a LPS but then i looked at the price 65$!!!! i feel bad for the pinktoe but i wont perpetuate that gauging. how much u pay for her, get a discount for the missing pedipalp? I like to go to pet stores and either 1. tell them thier animal is dying so i'll take it off thier hands (when they arent dying, just molting;) ) or 2. tell them it is a diff sp. that is marked at a lower price that what it actually is. 9 times out of 10 they are so dumb i get away with it. idk if you know fish but i got a $200 male potters wrasse for 10 bucks cause i said it was a damsel HAHAHA{D {D

I would normally say that this is a low blow and completley wrong....but I feel no sympathy for pet stores any more. So, well done:clap: .

If I go into a pet store, I make sure that I only bring a few bucks for whatever I need so that I wont go haywire and buy the whole damn store.

i worked for years in the industry and i feel now that it is destructive and cruel to animals, which is partly why i dont work in them anymore, i used to think i could change it but its to big of a money hungry industry to change. I'm like a rogue scientist with plans for a fission reactor and a grudges against the govenment. i know how the industry works on the inside and use it to screw it over to my own gain. its the employees fault if they dont know to be on the lookout for someone like me, or to not know anything about thier job. when i worked no one could screw me like that cause i knew how to do my job and cared.
