Over the course of the past several months, I've made several posts about one of my Ts... a female P. lugardi named Cookie Monster, who has driven me positively bonkers with her erratic behaviour.

(See previous posts Here )

Last night, she finally ended my long and painful wait - and molted! :D

If I do say so myself.. she's gorgeous

I tried to take the molt, and she *politely* told me that wasn't okay with her {D

Thanks! :)

I just got a fasciatum, that looks like she molted shortly before I got her... she's always out and about, lucky me! lol

She's gorgeous!!! I've never been as big of a fan of lugardis as much as P. murinus or chordatus, but WOW! I guess I never had the pleassure of seeing a freshly molted one, she looks incredible. Bet she looks better in person! :D

Thanks!

She looks simply stunning... I just stared at her, as closely as I dared, for awhile... her carapace was iridescent - a really lovely T, that I'm really glad to have!

I can't wait for my slings to grow up and look like her!

yeah, I am just SOOO sick of my dad saying no :( there is someone not HOURS away from me selling a 3" female E. pachypus for a GREAT price, I would die to have it, but noo god forbid I bring one more spider in the house when I already have nine.

Damn, that sucks! :( There was a 3" E. pachypus at a meeting I just went to.. didn't bother to ask how much it was, figuring I couldn't afford it.. and someone else got it for $10, apparently! That's what I get for not asking lol

I don't know what I'd do if the people I live with, actually cared about how many Ts I have..

Holy crap, that little? See if that was the pricing for this one I wouldn't even bother asking my parents. If your interested in knowing the price and seller of the E. pachypus shoot me a PM. He's local to me, but he ships (and he's selling here on the boards.

It's insanely fustrating. Its not like they take up a lot of room or anything, I have most of my enclosures on a single shelf! Plus they're not noisy or smelly.

Wait, is this that same one you thought was preggers while you rehoused it and it JUST finally finished changing now? You know I was kidding when I said she was a diva, but not anymore!

Hobo - that's the girl! lol She IS a diva... first, she made me wait this long, then she refused to let me take the molt (is STILL refusing, I've tried again several times since lol)

Thanks Hokie :) The exact conversation that led to her name escapes me now (it was back in May '09), but it was a conversation between my son and then-boyfriend.. and then suddenly her name was Cookie Monster! (that's what happens when you let a 1.5 year old in on conversations hehe)

I always thought it was because she looked kinda like raw cookie dough.

I actually don't think their discussion had anything to do with food, and I am leaning towards it actually having to do with the Sesame street character LOL

yes! she does look like that:} i'm tempted to name my vagans after my favorite indulgence, red velvet cupcakes, but can't think of a clever enough name that isn't too dorky-sounding!
