My mystery inch or so black "wandering predator" that has the tan stripe that has sorta diamond shape in the stripe has laid an egg sack. This is one fiesty bi!ch as it is... I know she is going to be going after me every time I open the thing to feed her... that and I really dont want a ton of these spiderlings... they are gonna be real small and I am afraid they will get out somehow... I guess I will just leave them in there and let them cannibalize each other and the few that get large enough I will release next spring... unless anyone wants some mystery spider in a few months... they are actually really freaking cool... this(Chic apparently) is one hell of an eater for her size. She ate 8 small to medium crickets in two weeks! I guess she was so hungry becuase she was getting ready to do this. Oh and if anyon eis interested in them they would be free of course... just pay for shipping which Im sure ground standard mail woul dbe fine... or maybe Im getting ahead of myself:D

Well it abandoned it last night and is eating again... should I assume that it is a rotten egg sac... I can see in it (as its attached to the glass) and it looks like lots of little brown specs... I watched them go from nothing to white eggs to yellowish specs and now brown... I think its rotting... but since its so much smaller than say a T sac... its hard to tell. I am not sure but I think that she is some kind of small wolf spider. She voraciously took down a cricket that was all most her size last night. Poor gal was all wasted away after laying her nest and then not eating since... I think 9/22 or something like that... In a way I am all most glad the sac went bad(assuming it did) because I really did not want to care for all of these and I cant release them because the cold is coming... and they will be absoltley miniscule as she is full grown(I assume since she laid a sac) and is barely an inch or a little over... but man she is interesting... eats like nuts.
