Weird worm-like thing

Under a rotted log I found what looked to be a wet spider web, but crawling among it was a tiny white worm. I cant get a picture of it becauses its so small, what is it?

otherise i imagine there are any number of worms and larve that it could be

It may of had some tiny hairs, not sure. Its head was black.
