water bowls

hi,
nothing major and is probably already well known but
my salmon pink used to fill her water bowl , be constantly moving round her tank and even on occasions picked at the grating with her fangs,( she is kept in a critter keeper by the way.)
she had a 3inch waterbowl but because of her behaviour i decided to replace it with a waterbowl of twice the diameter.since i have done this she has turned into a very calm T that doesnt fill her waterbowl nor pick at the grating with her fangs.
maybe ive wasted poeples time but i thought id throw this teensy little observation on here anyways

good observation! My L parahybana male wore the tip of a fang down chewing on the screen. I changed his water bowl, and he stopped....coincidence?! You tell me!

Pewrhaps seeking more moisture?? My Rosea [yes the phsyco one] does a death curl and spreads her fangs and just sorta chills by the water bowl when I fill it up and if I dont she bites into the wood hide I have for her
