Hey,
I'm new to the arachnid board, but have been keeping arachnids for over 18 years. I do educational programs using a wide variety of exotic animals, most rescues. I am a sanctuary for unwanted exotics of many different species and a permitted wildlife rehabber. Of course I don't come across a great deal of arachnids & insects needing rescued. lol But have a nice collection that I use to show kids and adults.
Anyway. through the years I have had different scorpions, etc. I like scorpions more so than other arachnids.
I am hoping to find some
Australian wood liocheles australisaie
Marbled scorpion Lychas marmoreus
I realize that Australia has changed their laws to not collect nor import.
Was hoping to find someone in USA that happens to have some that would consider selling them. I have had both years ago.
Would also like to find the Chaerilus sp. ‘Philippine’ - Philippine Dwarf Scorpion
or if anyone happens to have any species of camel spiders, I'd like to get some of those. I realize now's not the ideal time of year for them to be in the trade, but have a program at a local zoo that I will be speaking on scorpions and arachnids, and would love to find some of these for then. However it is the second week in April. lol
My dream scorpion that I've never had, and realize many are looking for, but hardly ever seen in the US is the Heterometrus swammerdami - Indian Giant Forest Scorpion
But, by chance if anyone happens to have those jewels for sell. lol
Any help or leads on any of the above would be greatly appreciated.
Thx Darin
