Walnut/Hazelnut Shell Hides (for slings)

Do you think it's okay and safe to use half walnut or hazelnut shells as hides for tiny slings? I've got three babies on the way and I've set up their tiny enclosures but have nothing suitable as hides. I've poked starter burrows which will probably do tbh but thought a tiny hide may be nice...

Thoughts?

They are fine. T's might ignore/abuse them cuz they do that.

Yes, they can be used. However, I would just keep an eye on mould forming, since spiderling enclosures are more damp.

good pinch of moss is easiest imo provides both a hide and place to drink from

I've used walnut in my enclosures in the past. While it is safe for the T, from my experience, it molds heavily and almost instantly in presence of moisture. I would not recommend for that reason.

No issues to the T, but keep an on potential mold. For tiny slings I rarely use hides.

You can use a leaf too. Imo they look better anyway.
anymore I just use a little bit of moss so I can keep a better eye on them.
