Realized this is a shot in the dark, but these are the two species in the hobby from what I’m told. Both reside in Colombia (not talking about sp. ‘nigricolor’ which are Ecuadorian and have the ‘Christmas tree’ pattern) and are a bit different visually from what I’m told. Haven’t been able to find any clear photo of both. If anyone has any photos of both, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

From what I was told is that affinis nigricolor II is a darker black and more vivid pink while nigricolor is a ‘lighter’ black with a bit of a duller pink. Saw some photos but not sure if it’s due to light or not
