Tarantulas this beautiful, are like Lay's Potato Chips.
Too good to have just one.
Betcha can't have just one.

You mean 'throw-unsuspecting-spider-into-tank-with-moss-and-leaves-and-other-cozy-things-then-back-to-sterile-home-again'-pictures? :p

I don't really like them because they feel fake. (When a 'photo-tank' is used, I mean). A little better is spider-on-a-lawn, but that doesn't exactly look very natural :)

Good looking spider there, for sure.

Good looking spider there, for sure.
Also, the "fake tank environment" could well be more stressful for the spider with the additional wrangling involved?

.
I don't know anyone who keeps a spider in a sterile environment. That would be impossible!

Most Poecilotheria are far from evil. P.metallica are a little nervous at worst (in my experience)

Metallica: Ah, yes..I like the look of spiders on bark as well.

Lopez: And there it is! Absolute proof that delving too deeply into something makes you miss the bigger picture! :)
