I would remove it
I had a d triton hold on to an egg. I thought she would eat it since she looked skinny and dehydrated so I thought she would eat it for nutrients and it’s really hard to get it out of there fangs. She never ate it and died even though I offered her food and water.

@ForTW do you have any advice, i know you seem to know what you're doing with true spiders.
It's been a while since i kept and bred viridasius (10 years i guess)....
Anyways, try feeding her. They do fine guarding the sag for 3-4 weeks without food, As skinny as they are. If i remember correctly they take food.

I would leave the sac since they are an extra christmas decoration to it's enclosure :anxious:

Don't they attach the sac to it's spinnerets as most lycosidae? My ancylometes rufus catched food. A lot! Never had a dolomedes.

well they're pisuaridae ( possibly misspelled didnt check) so im pretty sure they anchor it so something.

the only sac ive seen in the wild was anchored to the bottom of a stone, but it may have been a pirata sac, couldnt tell at their stage

Yeah i just checked, they carry it around with their chelizera, unfortunatly. Those will not eat and i'd remove it. Looks uncomfy, atleast Heteropoda venatoria is smart enough to make a disk 😁.
