So I woke up and discovered my sons vinegaroon is dead. We brought it about a year ago as sub adult and it’s never been in with another vinegaroon.
I find Vinnie dead, flat as a pancake in the corner of her cage. In her burrow I find some eggs.
Any ideas as to whether the eggs are savable? They’re very hard to touch but I really don’t know what to do. 544FA28F-7FC4-44DF-BB4B-820D84160274.jpeg

They are not viable. Sorry for your loss. If the female was disturbed by lack of moisture, feeding, collection damage or human physically interacting with her while the brood sac was out that could be the reason for the death. They are sensitive during the period of time after expulsion of the brood sac whikr carrying the eggs to term. This is more common with WC individuals something I hope to change in time
