They are common in petstores etc. (at least in Europe). They are not considered rear fanged... they ARE rearfanged.Hedorah99 said:Most importantly, where di you get them  .
And are they considered rear fanged? I am trying to get my hands on a pair of Green Cat Eyed Snakes (Boiga cyanea).
Not to steal the thread away from boidaddic, but do you have any info on them considering captive husbandry and the venom potency. i cannot find anything. If you have anything can you PM it to me please.Steffen said:They are common in petstores etc. (at least in Europe). They are not considered rear fanged... they ARE rearfanged.![]()
Hope you find your Boigas. I have a pair myself. They are beautiful, but very hard to feed.

I had one last year... wouldn't eat anything but lizards aswell. But you should try fish. I have seen some feed them on fish, so it should be possible.boidaddic said:WOW that snake is gorgeus! Yes Ahaetulla prasina is rear fanged, I've been bitten a couple times by the younger ones but I never had any ill effects. And they feed on lizards, I've tried to switch them to rodents but I havent had much luck.
