Are both the same species? I'm trying to do research on them and I've found that both have the same species name.

The Vietnamese rainbow millipede is Tonkinbolus dollfusi. This species is absolutely stunning but is not too readily available in the U.S. hobby because there really hard to breed. The Thai rainbow millipede is Apeuthes sp.. This species is also just as beautiful and is pretty readily available in the U.S. hobby and from what i'm told they much much much easier to breed then T. dollfusi. If you are interested in the Thai rainbows i know peter from Bugsincyberspace has them in stock. Also a really amazing book on millipedes is Millipeds In Captivity (yes in the title of the book it is spelled milliped) by Orin Mcmonigle it has a ton of information. Anyways i hope this helps

I've newly purchased 2 of the Apeuthes species from @Elytra and Antenna here on the boards (he has a classifieds listing up right now), and every night one of them emerges and makes adorably inquisitive laps around my display enclosure. I fin them truly charming. I also know that bugsincyberspace.com is a reputable seller with very healthy animals and reasonable prices. Good luck with this beautiful and fun species!
