Sad times Mexico really doesn’t do enough to protect this species. So close to extinction.

the sad thing with axolotls, is that you could buy them at the petshop. But they were litteraly extinct in their local.

being the superbeing they are, labs would never let them die out.

we are lucky we still get three color variations. But keeping this, isnt like goldfish.

im glad they are getting the love to make a possible come back. but its also like death; everyone gets a high moment before its truely over.

I remember axolotls sold in all the pet stores back in the 80's. Every pet store had them.
