Hi all I am new here ☺ I have a baby sling .how often do you feed in a week please ty x

there are no set rules, you could feed every couple days, you could feed every couple weeks and each could raise the same healthy sling.

How often you feed will often generally depending on the size of the prey as well as where the t is in the molt cycle.

I have bred C versi many times and raised thousands of C versi slings. General rule of thumb is that I feed them twice a week. The prey (usually crickets) should be no larger than the size of their abdomen. If you have an L1/L2 size C versi then usually 1st or 2nd crickets are fine. If you can't get small crickets then it is also OK to rip them in two and feed to your spider. It is best to do that method as the body parts are still twitching which provokes a better prey response than just body parts would (e.g. a cricket leg) although they will scavenge when they need to.
IME C versi have a really good prey response usually and will happily pounce on the food straight away and roll around with it. Ha ha
